Winterizing your pool is the best way to insure a quick and easy opening in the spring.

1. Balance the water.
2. Shock the pool with a standard chlorine shock.
3. Clean the pool and backwash the filter.
4. Add 1 ounce of AlgaeShield^® per 1,000 gallons of pool water.
5. Follow pool and equipment manufacturer’s freeze recommendations. Unused AlgaeShield must be stored at a temperature above 32º Fahrenheit.
6. Cover the pool and shut down the filter.
